1. Legal or illegal? 750W motor - no, BUT Duotts can give you a tech passport with a 250W specification and a sure 15.5 mph limit as well (KEK). If you, same as me, did not wear the throttle, then it's fully legal, and you can provide proof to the police if they stop you. There are also no markings on the motor about its power, as on other ebikes.
2. I have had this bike for one week. On the first day, I rode at unlocked speed for 17 miles, and on the second day, at the "legal" speed with 3rd assist mode (11 mph middle speed), I rode 15 miles. The battery was almost dead. In total, 32 miles.
3. A slight problem with the gear switcher and brakes. The gear switcher can be set up, but it's better to make the purchase with hydraulic brakes. On Reddit and YouTube, the same complaints about "standard" brakes—so FYI, they don’t live long.
After a full recharge and with speed limited to 15.5 mph, I was able to ride 30 miles in mode 3 (+-11 mph) + 22 miles in mode 5 (15.5 mph) = 52 miles (84 km). The battery wasn't totally discharged, but there were no more indicators on the battery status.
