The specific warranty covering your GLEERIDE e-bike and e-scooter is governed by the laws of the state or country in which it was purchased and only applies to models purchased from us at GLEERIDE.
How will we resolve issues with your GLEERIDE model?
If a component is deemed defective or damaged and is not user error, we will ship a replacement part from our local warehouse in the US/Canada/UK/Europe. We will assist you in replacing any defective part. We will replace any part deemed damaged in shipping. If the product cannot be repaired after a reasonable number of attempts as determined by GLEERIDE, we will provide the owner with a replacement product.

GLEERIDE WARRANTY COVERAGE
FRAME AND FORK:
GLEERIDE EBikes warranties aluminum GLEERIDE bike frames against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the original or used owner.
GLEERIDE E-Bike frames are made of carbon fiber and are warrantied against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for 5 years.
This warranty covers replacement of the frame only and does not include labor to replace parts into a replacement frame.
Replacement labor must be done by an authorized RIDSTAR bike owner.
E-Bike frame issues not covered under this warranty include, but are not limited to:
- Corrosion
- Paint fading, scratches, impact marks
- Impact damage
- Irreversible modifications (drilling/welding)
- Chain guard mounted to frame (if applicable)
Components:
All other components, frame fixtures and finishes (paint and decals) are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of original retail purchase. (When all warranty replacement parts are shipped to the customer, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.)
This limited warranty does not cover: Normal wear and tear that is not the result of defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by GLEERIDE. Parts that are generally not covered include, but are not limited to:
1. Brake pads; rotors; spokes; tires/inner tubes; chains; chainrings; cassettes; cranksets;
2. Parts damaged by corrosion due to natural factors (moisture, heat, etc.).
3. Damage or deterioration in the surface finish, appearance or aesthetics of the product.
4. Frames, forks, handlebars, seatposts, saddles, brakes, lights, cranksets, pedals, rims, hubs, flywheels, cassettes, derailleurs, shifters, motors, throttles, controllers, wiring harnesses, LCD displays, brackets, reflectors and hardware are covered within one week of receipt, and parts damaged during use after seven days will be charged.
This warranty applies to any basic electric bicycle or electric scooter parts that are found to be defective, provided that the product is used in a standard and controlled manner and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual. Basic parts include bicycle frames, motors, batteries, displays and controllers.
GLEERIDE warranty does not cover:
Corrosion of electrical components is not covered under warranty. You should wipe the contacts on the battery and other electrical components dry to prevent corrosion and oxidation. If needed, you can use an electrical contact cleaner to keep the connections clean. In extreme weather (for example, in communities that salt the roads in winter), you can apply battery terminal grease as a preventative measure.
1. Labor charges for part replacement or conversion.
2. Defects or damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities inconsistent with the product's intended use), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
3. Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage not caused by the GLEERIDE electric bicycle or electric scooter.
4. The serial number or barcode of the product is removed, defaced, damaged, altered or illegible.
5. Defects or damage to the product caused by the use of accessories, products or auxiliary/peripheral devices not provided or approved by GLEERIDE with the product.
6. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair or adjustment in a manner different from the assembly instructions and user manual.
7. Defects or damage caused by external causes such as collision, fire, flood, storm, lightning strike, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse or improper use of any power source.
8. The electric bike was not purchased from the GLEERIDE official online store.
How to make a warranty claim
If you believe there is a warranty issue with your GLEERIED e-bike or e-scooter, your first point of contact should be the GLEERIED retailer where you purchased it. The place of purchase will file a claim with GLEERIED on your behalf.
FAQs about extended warranty
Warranty is automatically registered when the initial purchaser orders at the GLEERIED official store and the 1-year warranty starts from the time the initial owner receives the model.
Q1: What if I purchased a used GLEERIED bike? Is my frame covered under warranty?
A1: Yes, warranty coverage is extended to the original and second buyers if the following conditions are met:
1, The 1-year warranty has not expired since the initial owner received the bike.
2, You have the initial owner's name and initial order number.
Q2: What if my GLEERIED e-bike is stolen?
A2: Sorry, stolen bikes are not covered under warranty. We recommend that you purchase a quality lock to protect your model when you are not riding it.
Q3: My bike/frame was in a collision and damaged. Can I enjoy the warranty?
A3: Sorry, collisions or accidents are not covered by the warranty policy. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by collisions.
