Throttle & 5-Level Pedal Assist
Twist throttle for automatic riding without pedaling. 5 levels of Pedal Assist allow riders to choose power output and customize their workout on the fly.

- 1, Each Totem E-bike has a level 0 safety device that puts the entire bike in a "pedal only" mode with no power. Motorized power only activates by pedaling when the rider increases the pedal assist level.
- 2, Brake Sensor - Disengages the motor when the brakes are applied, providing an intuitive cycling experience for all riders.
- 3, Overheat Protection - Disengages the motor to protect the drive system when sustained operating temperatures exceed 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 4, Throttle Protection - Momentarily disengages the throttle after 60 seconds of continuous use to protect the drive system from sustained high current output.
- 5, Battery Management System (BMS) + Over-current Protection – The battery’s internal chip is designed to self-regulate “sleep mode” when not in use for extended periods, prolonging usable battery life and protecting against over-current events.
- 6, Self-diagnosing Error Code messages – smart controller diagnoses drive system status and displays a numbered code to pinpoint areas for troubleshooting.

Received my bike and it was love at first sight. The stunning design caught my eye. When I took it for a ride, I was amazed by the smooth biking experience. As someone who's 6'2" and 289lb, I appreciate the sturdy frame and fat tires that carry me safely to my destinations.

This a great bike. My first fat tire, had other mountain bikes before. I expected it to be hard to peddle with the big tires and heavy battery, but it’s so easy and smooth even with assist and throttle off. Comparable bikes are double the price elsewhere. Highly recommend this bike to experienced riders and novices.
My experience with totem was excellent there was a hiccup at first but promptly fixed it with their customer Service, they promptly fixed my issue and stayed with me through the whole process I just rode my first 25 miles and I’m loving it!!!!
